I've been working on this for a looonnng time. X33 This artwork means much more to me than you know. Hope all the work paid off. Honestly though, I only meant for this to be a simple pic, a practicing area. But then it turned into this lovely thing right here. <333 Art by mistake I guess?

I used a slightly different coloring technique than usual, and I really do like it! Hope you guys will too. Feedback is much appreciated!!

and I'm going to give you some constructive feedback!

This is a very well-thought out and thoroughly designed piece, you really had made the most of the composition and all of the would-be blank spaces, yet you still capture attention where it needs to be.

The landscape touches such as the twigs, flower and grass give a more natural sense to the environment.

Furthermore, I like the interaction between Sonic's solemn, focused gaze and the mythical creature. I haven't seen Sonic in more thoughtful depictions so this is a treat.

The technique looks really clean, fantastic job, the strokes have a nice smooth and consistent quality. Although I see you've taken it into consideration, the only thing I might question would be the lighting, as with a glow as bright as the entity in front of him would probably have greater shines on the nearby objects like the flower and Sonic's face. Although other than that there really wasn't anything else I can point out in terms of inaccuracy or improving technique. Keep up the good work

Stunning. That's the only adjective I can think about right now to describe this picture.
I love so much when someone combines Sonic with surreal situations, just like in this drawing. These kind of picture always makes me image about a story behind them.
The originality is guaranteed, since I've never seen a picture like this one before; an unique piece.
The soft colors express serenity and peace to my eyes, although I can sense that "something extraordinary is about to happen".
Sonic's relaxed pose and expression also show tranquility as his eyes admire the butterfly glowing in the dark.
I like how his hands are joined together, resting onto his legs, as if he was waiting for something to happen.
I love the technique you used, perfect for this genre of art; wherever I lay my gaze, I can see new particulars and colors that I hadn't noticed before.
Astonishing work. Keep it up!
